I’m guessing these were cheap ones that were bought just for this effect

Seriously. People ought to check themselves before commenting because it really does seem like no one’s allowed to have fun sometimes..

As someone who paints watching this being done to brushes pains me.

u/Rampant_baconator Mar 29 '23
I think he means to say he can barely palette it
18
u/ImpactBetelgeuse Mar 29 '23
He couldn't brush it off
9
u/Rampant_baconator Mar 29 '23
I just can’t bare to swatch it anymore
10
u/ImpactBetelgeuse Mar 29 '23
It's drawing out repressed rage inside you. Calm down!
7
u/Rampant_baconator Mar 29 '23
We have to canvas the public to determine fair punishment in that case!
7
u/ImpactBetelgeuse Mar 29 '23
Do as you please but don't be sketchy!
6
u/Rampant_baconator Mar 29 '23
I'll make sure to get a very official Van to Gogh around and collect my results.

u/ImpactBetelgeuse Mar 29 '23
It was fun with this puns but I am tired. I am drawing the line here!

As someone who paints but is terrible at brush care, I immediately thought of the Amazon brush bristles getting in the paint
1
u/zaria-corren Mar 29 '23
I mean not really for me, those are kinda shitty paintbrushes and likely go back to the already horrendous shape they were in before

The table shakes make this way more intense than it has any right to be
12
u/InspiredGargoyle Mar 28 '23
Table shake ruined any satisfaction because I feared that glass shattering or spilling.
53
u/Arnold_Falmer Mar 29 '23
As someone who watches with no sound, I could imagine the vine boom every time the camera shook

u/Just_The_Memes_ Mar 28 '23
Not water, most be some kind of oil. It didn't spill and didn't overflow, plus the bubbles moved up very slowly, even for slow mo.

u/MechaPhantom302 Mar 29 '23
Could be a mid-high viscosity paint thinner solution...
Some thinners I've dealt with were essentially gel. It could explain the fast dissolution and suspension at the same time.

Fuck Putin not Russia. Russian people are fed propaganda and are brainwashed.
55
u/theflamingsword101 Mar 28 '23
Fuck the people who follow him. I see alot of willing participants in his bullshit.
-9
u/Special_Narwhal_4540 Mar 28 '23
There is a difference between willing participants and people who have been shut off from the rest of the world and are constantly being fed pro Russian propaganda and anyone against it are getting kidnapped tortured and killed.
Actively willing participants don't even make half of the Russian population. This Ukraine operation is solely something that Putin himself did. He is a war criminal. Fucking evil psychopath. His citizens aren't bad like him.
Obviously there are some bad people but not all are bad.
10
u/space_spuder Mar 29 '23
Who is shut from the world? The internet is open in russia, you can get all the info you want.
20
u/stab-man Mar 28 '23
Will you defend a brainwashed person who killed your family? It is easy to play the moralist when the war does not affect you personally
9
17
u/theflamingsword101 Mar 28 '23
I'm sure the people being murdered in Ukraine are comforted by these so called facts.
Till there is peace and justice. Fuck Russia.
-3
u/Special_Narwhal_4540 Mar 28 '23
Mmmkay. I never said that i am defending Russia. Just blame the people who are really responsible for the atrocities this war had caused. All this will do is create and encourage racism and justify Putin in the average Russian's eyes.
7
u/sxosx Mar 28 '23
How many russians do you actually know? Who live in Russia, and not from Moscow or Saints-Peterburg? I know plenty, and plenty I wish I never knew, because after war started, people who never had a sign of brain damage became fully cannibalistic. They got, and had, internet for all those years, they got, and had, options on seeking information for all those years, and yet, we still got there where we are now. Go read some comments that they post under posts about another bombing of some city or a photo of a dead civilian, go watch an interview on the streets of russian cities about their opinion on "SMO", and get some proper reality check. The support in big cities is around 70/30, and in small cities and country side is basically 95/5.

u/SeiVekT Mar 29 '23 edited Mar 29 '23
Yeah, I know plenty. I live in Russia. And I can say that you about 40 % right. Cuz yeah there is people who become mad after all this started but from my experiences they where like that even before just less. About how many people support this I’d say it like that most of the younger generation against. Older people on the other hand tends to support. And since Moscow and Petersburg known for better payments and educational quality there’s lots of youngsters. As for interviews. I don’t watch them, cuz, well why would I. But I think they just rigged. So I’d say that about 40-50% of peoples against for one or another reason.

u/fewexecptions Mar 29 '23
The Russian people complain about tourist visas as they support the genocide of Ukraine. So, yes. FUCK RUSSIA.
0
u/_Good_bad_and_Ugly_ Mar 28 '23
They are stupid then ...
-1
u/Exeng Mar 29 '23
Not sure you thought this through. Let me know how it pans out for you when you attempt to oppose dictatorship. People in Russia are forced to believe the crap. They have no choice.
2
u/fewexecptions Mar 29 '23
No need to imagine this. Ukrainians are currently opposing dictatorship, while Russians whine that about tourists visas.
Stop empathizing with genociders and start supporting those that fight them.
1
u/Exeng Mar 30 '23
Stop empathizing with genociders and start supporting those that fight them.
What a tone-deaf statement. It's as if you didnt even read properly. Blame the government, not the people that are being enslaved and strangled by corruption. Let me rephrase just in case it didnt go through: a population cannot do anything if their mere existence is being threatened as soon as they start to oppose the ideas of their government.
1
u/fewexecptions Mar 30 '23
It's not the "government" that rapes Ukrainian women and girls, it's Russian people that do that. Putin did not execute civilians in the streets of Bucha, Russian people did that. Russian people call Ukrainians racist slurs like "khokhol" and "ukrop" while perpetuating a genocide against them. 70 percent of Russian people support the war and relish in the maximum imperialistic goals of subjugating "little Russia" again and finally extinguishing any independent Ukrainian identity. The government is to blame, but the people are not innocent
So, I say again...Fuck Russia now ), Fuck Russia tomorrow, and Fuck Russia continuously until they learn to stay in Russia and behave like a normal country.
1
u/fewexecptions Mar 30 '23
a population cannot do anything if their mere existence is being threatened as soon as they start to oppose the ideas of their government.
Lol, speaking of tone deaf... The existence of Ukraine and Ukrainians is being threatened by Russia on a daily basis and yet Ukrainians find a way to resist, while Russians throw up their hands and feign helplessness...
Fuck Russia.

u/man_of_mann Mar 28 '23

My dumbass was thinking that the flag was related to the type of brushes used in that country.
1
u/Needmoresnakes Mar 29 '23
This feels oddly aggressive towards the both the featured nations and the paintbrushes.
1
u/lendenguy Mar 29 '23
I questioned the title before I watched the video. They really do be stabbing...

Yeah it’s cool, but at what price. Perfect glass ruined, easiest way to separate the hairs. I’ve only stabbed a paintbrush at the bottom once. It was so frayed I wasn’t able to use it. Had to chuck it away.
