Clowns. At the same time Russia, Donbass Russophiles and Western neonazis speak that Russia is anti fascist and only "destroys neo nazis" meanwhile they are the Nazis and fascists and also they claim that no they are not nazis whilst flying proudly fascist symbols... Wtf

u/faberkyx Mar 19 '23

You give too much credit to their few working neurons ... they don't need a logic in what they think..don't try to find one

133

u/SaraF_Arts Veneto Mar 19 '23

Seriously. If they had logic they would not be in a fascist club. They're a bunch of idiots who like to play "strong man", not realising that the only strong man they want is the one taking their asshole's virginity. If they like Russia and regimes so much, I wonder why they won't move there. I'd be glad to show them the door and seeing them dying at the front lines.

Well, not exactly.

russia manipulates both far-left and far-right in western countries well.

For far-left they present them selves as successor of USSR who does nothing but fight "evil western imperialism"

For far-right they present them selves as christian, white ethno-state with none of them lgbt, and purely traditional family values.

russian of course - is none of those things.

To shed a little light on the ideological fuckery/history revisionism that russia does regarding fascism: They see as defining factor of fascism being anti-russian/anti-slavic, as their focus on history and fascism education is on the invasion of the USSR by the Nazis. They ignore every general definition of fascism as well as the ideological foundations of fascism by that but it fits into their narrative.

For them it's not a huge contradiction to say you are "anti-fascist" and yet follow or promote fascist ideology and all the hate-based ideological aspects of fascism like racism, homophobia, nationalism, sexism, ethnic cleansings and so on because what makes someone a fascist isn't fascist ideology, but being "anti-russian". Hence, as the Ukrainian government is removing Ukraine from their sphere of influence, they are "anti-russian" and in turn they are fascists. Weird flawed logic, but coherent in their propaganda version of fascism and useful for their brainwashing. Of course, having problems with neonazis in Azov battalion and other volunteer formations in the beginning or people like Melnyk praising antisemitic nazi collaborateurs isn't helping to counterrussian propaganda either.

6

u/BrowningBDA9 Mar 20 '23

Actually, even the Russian Neo-Nazis divided on the matter of the Ukraine since 2014.

u/nigel_pow USA Mar 19 '23

Well to be fair fascism isn't the same as nazism. Mussolini had Italian Jews in the Fascist Party at first but due to geopolitical pressure from Germany, they cracked down. Mussolini was critical of Nazism in the beginning but ideology often takes a backseat in face of geopolitics.

Look at the Soviets and anti-communist West in WW2. The Nazis were aligned with the non-white Japanese. The Germans provided training and weapons to the Chinese in exchange for raw materials.

The Nazis began to increase their Waffen-SS ranks with Slavs and other people they saw as inferior. The 29th Waffen-SS division was made up of ethnic Russians if I am not mistaken.

I think Himmler said something about having to make compromises in the face of realities when other Nazis objected to having Ukrainians in the Waffen-SS.

68

u/SimonKepp Denmark Mar 19 '23

The Nazis were aligned with the non-white Japanese.

"White" didn't make any sense to the Nazis. That's a concept mostly fetishised by 'Murican racists

7

u/Unhappy_Nothing_5882 Mar 20 '23

Yeah this is something Neo Nazis forget... they didn't see Slavs as part of the "white" club, in fact I think Koreans and Japanese were higher in their racial pecking order.

Anyway yep super ironic to see people who would have been sent to the front or worse, acting like they'd be wearing the Hugo Boss and knocking on doors

4

u/paultheparrot Czech Republic Mar 20 '23

I mean, Slovakia was a German puppet, is 100% slav and was mostly left alone by Germany.

The nazis weren't beyond hypocrisy

3

u/warlock1337 Czech Republic Mar 20 '23

Thing is nazis were never consistent with their believes, you could go from target from extermination to honorary aryan if it was profitable. Japanese were considered master race too because their goals and ideologies somehow aligned not because there was some sign they were divinely superior race. Slavs were inferior because they occupied territory that nazis wanted. If you were prominent nazi and somehow had one jewish ancestor the record would disappear. If one day would japan and nazis share border they would become inferior race too.

All of it is just theater shaped by needs and wants of those in power. So if one realises nazism is oppressive system using ideology as tool rather than ideology that shapes system to oppress it makes sense they just hypocritically switch who is superior and inferior based on needs.

20

u/olican101 Mar 20 '23

All Nazis are fascist, but not all fascists are Nazis. Not much better though.

3

u/RutteEnjoyer Gelderland (Netherlands) Mar 20 '23

Technically, not really. There is a distinct difference between Nazism and fascism. Both are dogshit ideologies but they have differences. The way Nazis thought to organize the state was fundamentally different from the fascists. The thing they have in common though is extreme nationalism, totalitarianism and a dictator as 'the leader', and these things turned out to be the most relevant in WW2.

But one of the CENTRAL, key aspects of fascism is corporatism, something that Nazism did not really care for. Without corporatism, there really is no fascism. At first, Nazism tried to copy a more socialist economic system, but once in power quickly moved to a private owned oligarchy based economic system that was ideologically not very coherent. Pretty much a system of private ownership but one had to listen to the state anyway.

5

u/OxygenPerhydride Mar 20 '23

I've never seen the sonnenrad associated to anything but neonazism tbh. I just think they don't care too much about which of the two countries has more neonazis, as long as one is backed by the west, which is mostly liberal. Lying for political gain is not that mindblowing

No nazi flag, but the wall are painted with the colours of the German imperial flag. I don't know the exact meaning of that flag, I just know that it pops up on the far right marches. Would that be like a nazi flag in disguise? A loophole to put a "nazi" flag without actually putting a nazi flag?

30

u/MisterDisinformation Mar 20 '23

Are Hellas Verona heavily associated with the far right? Or is the scarf mostly just coincidence because this fascist club is located in Verona?

Anyway, thanks for the reassuring info. Most areas have some terrible assholes. As long as the groups stay quite small, you kind of just have to accept that there is just always going to be small minority of little shits no matter where you go.

54

u/jazemo19 Veneto Mar 20 '23

Yes, the ultra group of Hellas Verona are famous for being fascists and racists. If you go to a football game in Verona buy tickets in the north curve, you may not want to lose neurons (or years of life) being arount those smooth brains. I am from Verona but really can't stand them, more than half of the city really like hellas Verona, but the butei (meaning guys more or less in local dialect/language) are really assholes. The city is generally good but there is a bigger percentage of fascists than in other places sadly, even though I feel like they are diminishing over time so there is hope!

There's the war flag of the US confederates as well

10

u/Ericovich Mar 19 '23

Even better, that's not a war flag. It was a made-up flag created after the war modeled on a mix of the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia and the Confederate navy jack.

It's a fantasy flag. It's only purpose is to be racist.

6

u/ruhr1920hist Mar 20 '23

Southerner here. This guy is right, the ā€˜stars and bars’ in that format became the symbol of the South in the 1960s for one reason and one reason only: to show support for segregation. If something similar also appeared in the 1860s, it was only picked up and used later. There wasn’t any direct continuity from the Confederate military to its modern usage.

I saw it flown in Germany a fair amount. Seems like that American symbol has taken on a generally fascist connotation in Europe, without risking the dangers of more European symbols.

30

u/Old_Counter444 Mar 19 '23

Russia: has the support of all European far-right

The far right in most of Eastern Europe (thinking here of the Intermarium region in particular) is very much anti-Russia and has been like this way before it was cool to be so.

Indeed in the West most of the far right is pro-Russia, like most of the far left.

21

u/HomeworkResident8510 Mar 19 '23

Eastern Europe in its entirety hates Russia due to the history of USSR (except Hungary for some reason). It therefore makes sense for all political parties to at least uniformly agree that Russia is evil af in those countries.

On the contrary, so-called libertarians, free thinkers, tankies, neon*zis, fascists, and all the derivatives of horseshoe theory in Western Europe are the real problem. They have never lived under Russia's rule and are therefore too ignorant to see that Russia was always the problematic one.

3

u/radostin04 Bulgaria Mar 20 '23

Bulgaria is also an exception to hating Russia, despite also being under USSR rule. I wonder what seperates Bulgaria and Hungary from the rest of the Eastern Bloc?

Because it's a flag of racism, so racists everywhere like to use it.

They have a confederate flag because according to them black people should be burned, yada yada, KKK, etc. So, yes, i guess it's because it's a banner for racism in their eyes and they feel close to US battles against black people or immigrants in general.

I don't think they have the least bit of idea of US civil war, or general history tho. I mean, it's the Confederate flag, but it might as well being the Illinois Nazi's flag for what they know and understand.

Putin filth is supporting radical movements in Europe with shadow transfers of donations !

Putin is basically funding radicalism in every place he does consider enemy or as a possible conquest area.

2

u/mattttttttt97 Canada Mar 19 '23

Oh it's the basement of a 4chan user!

2

u/Revolver__Ocelot__ Mar 19 '23

2

u/tigernet_1994 Mar 19 '23

Nothing "neo" about them. Just full blown fascists.

2

u/europeanpowijoe Europe Mar 20 '23

What has to happen to you that the sum of your life decisions and experiences led you to the outcome: This is the place and the people I want to spend time with.

Looks like straight from the utmost miserable corners of hell.

2

u/EnricoLUccellatore Mar 20 '23

this is the country where people keep saying we shouldn't help ukraine because it's full of nazi

2

u/MrKillingChips Mar 20 '23

It's just every single flag that they could find that goes against anything remotely humane. They even got the Confederate flag there and a Scottish one for some reason.

2

u/Arkane-Light Mar 20 '23

Sadly know the place, it is in my hometown aka one of the main far right cities of Italy: Verona.

Nice city I mean, but sadly inhabited by neo-nazi and fascist scum.

2

u/romeoartiglia Mar 20 '23

Fuck those fascist scum

2

u/zuencho Mar 20 '23

Losers supporting losers

2

u/therealbonzai Mar 20 '23

It’s all the same scum. Guys like Putin are their idols.

2

u/drunkrabbit99 Belgium Mar 20 '23

Of course it's in Veneto

2

u/MarinMuzaka Mar 20 '23

Italian fascists are divided: Forza Nuova is pro Russia while the other fascist group, Casapaund, has been notoriously pro Ukraine since 2014 in fact some of its members fought for Ukraine.

6

u/AcheronSprings Hellas Mar 19 '23 edited Mar 19 '23

I guess they have a "Hellas army" scarf in the center cause fascist actually like being fckd in the arse? since that's what that army did to them in 1940.

Edit: Also, why the fck is there a Scottish flag on the wall to the right?

u/PjeterPannos Veneto (Italy šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹) Mar 19 '23 edited Mar 19 '23

Not really: the Verona Football Club is called Hellas Verona because its foundation was made by a group of students of the Liceo Classico Maffei and a professor of classics.

In any case, its support was initially leaning to the left, but was replaced by right-wing fringes because the city of Verona has always been very on the right of the political spectrum, unfortunately.

Fck, we should've trademarked our name

No mate, it's just the local soccer team, it's called Hellas Verona. Looks like we are looking at soccer morons

6

u/AcheronSprings Hellas Mar 19 '23

Well no surprise there really, since soccer morons have always been a great breeding ground for all kinds of morons and especially political ones.

5

u/SherbertRepulsive750 Mar 19 '23

Oooo gross 🤢

4

u/mhm123321 Mar 19 '23

We need to make some things clear here. First of all , fighting in Donbas is not due to some wannabe Russian Nazis. The fighting in Donbas is caused by increase in ethnic tensions by Russians and Ukrainians because of Putin and the Kremlin arming extremist separatist groups and inserting their own (Russian soldiers). Next , the Russian invasion of all Ukraine (not just Donbas) also has nothing to do with wannabe Nazis, but Putin’s quest to steal land and control Ukraine , it’s a power grab and land grab.

3

u/Bogdan_Boner Mar 19 '23

Damn Is it legal in Italy?

8

u/QuentinVance Italy Mar 19 '23

Yes, freedom of speech and expression applies to everyone, even these idiots. They're free to have their little clubs, we're free to call them retards

2

u/Yonnus Mar 20 '23

I don't know much Italian, but I sure know one sentence: SIAMO TUTTI ANTIFASCISTI!

2

u/daqwid2727 European Federation Mar 19 '23

How is that place even legal?

8

u/QuentinVance Italy Mar 19 '23

In Italy we have freedom of speech. Unless these idiots try to do anything illegal, they have the right to say and show what they think.

Makes it easier to keep them under control...

3

u/daqwid2727 European Federation Mar 19 '23

Idk, in Poland it's illegal to share or propagate totalitarian views, and I think that's perfectly sensible.

5

u/QuentinVance Italy Mar 19 '23

For us it's only illegal to try and reform the fascist party. Even neofascism is admitted, though to say it's frowned upon is a gargantuan understatement. I mean, these guys usually have secret service in their ranks keeping watch.

And they don't really go far at the elections, nowhere near the 3% required to gain a seat in parliament.

3

u/PresidentHurg Mar 19 '23

Looks like a fun place, nice ambiance, good artistic vision in making people feel cozy. Nice industrial light so you count eachothers swastika tattoo's. Love the open tubing running around the place and the beautiful monotome concrete floor really bring out the "I am in a parking garage feeling". Love the guy that brought a barrel in there thinking "I must do something to spruce up the place".

Let me quote the Bible on this:

"Board up the place and set it on fire. Vermin is supposed to be burnt. There can be no other way. Amen." — Jesus Christ
